Do you have aspirations of being involved in movies and/or television?
Do you want to be a director, an actor, a producer, a writer, a
cinematographer, or another member of the production team? If so, this
intensive is the perfect introduction to the film and television side of
the entertainment business. Participants will be broken up into groups
and choose from several already customized scripts (specifically
written for the intensive) or they may come prepared with their own
script to film. Each person will be given a role as part of the
production team and will be taught the various aspects of producing
including: filmmaking, casting, audio, lighting, continuity,
cinematography, wardrobe, editing, script supervising, special effects,
working with a green screen, etc. Having much experience on many film
sets and sound stages of popular movies and tv shows, I will pass that
knowledge to each group and help them apply it to make their own film.

This drama is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The play revolves around the adventures of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors and their interactions with the fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest. The story takes place in Midsummer and is a complex farce featuring Hermia & Lysander and Helena & Demetrius. Their romantic intrigues are confused and complicated still further by entering the forest where Oberon, the King of the Fairies and his Queen, Titania, preside. Puck (or Robin Goodfellow) is a major character who is full of mischief and tricks. Other visitors to the enchanted forest include Bottom the weaver and his friends Snug, Snout, Quince and Flute the amateur dramatists who want to rehearse their terrible but hilarious version of the play Pyramus and Thisbe. All teens and adults involved in this summerstock production will take part in every aspect of putting on this entertaining Shakespearean favorite.
